It contains three lightening ingredients, licorice, Vitamin K and Arbutin. Arbutin is a state of the art ingredient from the bearberry leaf, and as a whitening agent is very popular in Japan and Asia. It helps to lighten pigmentation by inhibiting Tyrosinase activity, which in turn inhibits the formation of melanin. Arbutin is a very safe skin agent for external use and is non-toxic.
