The D31 has 7-rows of bristle and is recommended for medium to long hair length. It is the most popular Freeflow size.

The Freeflow / Volume stylers are similar to the "CLASSIC" stylers. Smooth nylon bristles are embedded in the pure rubber base. However, the bristles are widely spaced so they do not apply as much tension or pull on the hair.This makes them ideal for thicker hair types, or for safely detangling wet or difficult hair. They can also be used to add lift and volume when blowdrying for a softer, fuller look.
